SEO work

When someone says he or she is an SEO specialist, you may wonder what exactly that means. For example, you may be wondering about the work involved or how much time the person spends on it. There are many different SEO work that an SEO specialist deals with on a daily basis. There is often more time in this than you think.

What is SEO work?

SEO work is diverse and interfaces with all marketing channels. Basically, this is any work that affects organic positions in Google. An organization benefits from this by bringing relevant traffic to the website.

When starting SEO work, it is hugely important to pick the right keywords. This selection cannot simply be reversed at a later point in the process.

Examples of SEO work

So SEO work often depends on the website (mainly the CMS) itself. For example, an SEO specialist starts by checking the website and checking the website’s SEO. The initial SEO work I undertake within a journey is listed below (note that each journey varies).

Each organization may have a different priority for these tasks, depending on their specific situation and goals. It is important to have a comprehensive SEO strategy that includes all of these elements, and regularly review and update as needs and circumstances change.

The importance of SEO work

SEO work has to do with your own website and the external websites that link to your own and to which you link. All the components of SEO together ensure that your website is more findable in search engines such as Google and that your website is easy to use by the user.

Possible goals of an SEO course

Each journey is unique and should have its own relevant KPIs to achieve. Some examples of possible goals of SEO work can be found below.

  1. Increased organic visibility: one of the primary goals of an SEO campaign is to increase your website’s visibility in organic search results. This means that when people search for keywords related to your products or services, your website appears in the top results. By improving organic visibility, businesses can drive more traffic to their websites.
  2. Increased quality of website traffic: in addition to increasing the amount of traffic, another goal of SEO is to improve the quality of that traffic. This means attracting visitors who are actually interested in what you offer and thus more likely to make a purchase, contact or take some other desired action on your site.
  3. Improved user experience: SEO is not only about search engines, but also about people. Therefore, a good SEO campaign will also focus on improving the user experience on your website. This can mean that the site loads faster, is easy to navigate, is mobile-friendly and provides useful, relevant information. Improving the user experience can help increase engagement and conversion rates, ultimately leading to higher ROI.

My advice

Doing your SEO work regularly will ensure that your website does not suddenly find itself at the bottom of search results. You make sure your website is constantly improving so you can finish above the competition.
